*sigh* See?
I've decided to restart it from scratch. Because I also used the wrong needle size when casting on and working the first 5 rows (which are done on 2.5mm). And I don't want to untangle and unravel all the yarn. Not to mention I have MORE than enough of both the red and white. And it also won't be so demoralizing...
But, on the good knitting front... I'm pretty much finished the Central Park Hoodie! Yay me! I'm just finishing the button band, so I will post after she has received her dunking and drying.
What's next? Well, I should tackle Dalarna's last sleeve. Sure. OK. But I think I'll work on Amphora for a while, and de-Dalarna my brain for awhile. Hey, it's not like I'm starting something new!
"Atticus! Mae! Guys, get over here! There's some funny white fluff flying around! Oh, wow... What's that? Why can't I catch it? Man, you're no fun Mom."
Yes. Gandalf is seeing his first "real" snowfall. We've been receiving snow squalls off the lake all day, and I for one LOVE it. I'm a winter person - I do like snow, and don't mind the cold, as long as I'm dressed for it. Which, having grown up in cold Ottawa, is not hard to do... Bev, what's up with you in Wyoming? I hope you didn't get snowed in!
Isn't Gandalf getting big!?
The question was asked how many XXL Ziploc bags I had filled up with my stash? Well, I used up 6 of them - but that doesn't include the 3 XL Rubbermaid bins, 2 Large ones and the Medium one. And Lorraine? Yeah, you saw the MESSY version of the stash. Now it's more...organized. Yeah. That's it. Organized.
(Didn't show my sock yarn either oh well bye!)

Oh, now I can see it. Ouch!!
Gandalf IS getting big! May reacted to her first snowfall by chittering at it as if the sky was full of fluffy white birds!
Well, it looks a bit wonky, but honestly I still don't see it. It could be the lighting.
Gandalf is so cute! Why won't you let him catch snow? Hez is hating our freezing cold right now, I can just imagine how much she'd loathe actual snow. I love the cold, I just wish I had better clothing for it.
I can see it now. Glad you have enough yarn just to start over.
My mother has taken every cat she has ever had out into the snow the first time it sees snow. I don't know why she does this. We never had a cat that liked the stuff. A cat thigh deep in snow is not a happy cat; funny to watch, but not happy.
I think the "design feature" looks pretty cute! But I guess, it's a bit too different.
Being outside is preferable to being in but it takes Pennsyl a while to get used to the snow & cold outside.
Bridge- I can see it now, but I understand your need to frog it. I would do the same thing.
Gandalf is a big boy now. Atticus better mind his p's and q's.
You have a stash to be proud of. It took many years to get it that way, so don't hate, celebrate!
I'm sorry about the pattern being off - even with that your work is beautiful! - Gandalf wants to play!
Down here we've been so spoiled with the weather, now that it's cold it feels even colder. Of course this horrible wind is just that, horrible. Sounds like a perfect day to knit but I'm off to another hockey game.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished hoodie!
I can't believe how big Gandalf has gotten - and what a real beauty he is!
Okay - now that you told us where to look for the lil' mistake, I could see it too - but hey, I still wouldn't have detected it on my own! But, as you said that you've also used the wrong needle size, I think it's really for the best to start it over - good that you have enough yarn left, and this time it'll turn out just perfect!
Okay - I can see it now. You'll have to give it another try and it'll end up beeing a beautiful and perfect sweater.
Galdalf's [cat] mom was no slouch. She was a good-sized gal as well so I guess it runs in the family.
OK, now I can see it. Um, hate to be the voice of reason, I have thick skin, go ahead, cuss me out, but I would rip it back, not because there is anything wrong with it, it's a little creative license, but because you will probably obsess over it (talking from experience? Meee, no) and keep obsessing over it until your sweater is done and you will regret not doing so. Okay, go ahead, you can yell at me now.
It took me forever to find your error. That's the one nice thing about patterning your eyes often don't see the error.
Gadlaf is adorable.
