OK. So It's Like This...

"Uh oh, I think Mom's on to my obsession with fridge magnets... Oh, there she is! Play dumb Gandalf, look busy!" - Gandalf

OK. It really doesn't matter that the picture is blurry. What you need to look at is that strange empty spot on left side of the picture. It seems I'm missing a few things...and you know, the fact that one of them is partially OFF of the fridge tells me someone is pawing after the magnets from the counter. And last I checked, my name wasn't "Rigitte". I found the "B" under my bedroom door.

No. It's not Atticus. Have you seen his girth? His lovable, huggable girth? And it's not Mae. Believe me. It's not Mae. Which leaves Little Gandalf. *sigh* I keep telling myself that no matter what he does - his antics are no where near as crazy as Atticus' were when he was kitten. More on that on another post...

Uh, Knitting...

It's been a productive week, but unfortunately, I can't post any pictures! Covert, secretive knitting...

But - I have been working on Amphora quite a bit -

Oh, and Marina? It's also done in a dark red/black colourway... Just sayin'. However, I've been unable to do much on it lately. Why? (And this is driving me kookoo.) I cannot find ANY of my 60cm 3.25mm needles. Anywhere. And I know I have at least 2 of them. They're not in any project bag. They're not where they SHOULD be. So, I'm stuck, because I'm about to cast off for the back neck, and the 80cm will be too long. I suppose I could use 4 longish DPN's, but I know they have to be here somewhere!!!! Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!!

Also - a few people wanted to know why I swapped my Henry VIII kit. Well, it's not because I didn't love the design - it's beautiful! But, I've had it in my stash for over 2 years, and I knew I would never work on it because the colourway didn't suit me. It has a good and happy home, and will be worked on now.

"I had nothing to do with the disappearing needles. Seriously. Mom, I'll help you look, OK?!"

You wouldn't guess that Red is also on the list of colours I don't wear, would you? What is wrong with some nice greens or blues ;-)

But, that should suit you and it's looking quite lovely!

Aww, isn't he such a helpful kitty ;-)

Gandalf's so cute. I think my Suzy might get a crush on him if I ever let her see the computer screen... :)

Mmmmm... Amphora. Gorgeous! What it is with cats and refrigerator magnets. I find them all over the place.

Hee hee - I've had a similar problem with fridge magnets! Fortunately not with needles... Your sweater is lovely!

Hmm, I hope May and Gandalf don't find each other on the computer and decide to internet date... ;)

Brigitte- I'm starting to think that a person's fridge magnets says alot about their personality.

I think Gandalf wants a collection of his own.
P.S. It's not polite to talk about Atticus's girth in public. I love him just as he is.

Amphora is so pretty! I think the nature of black cats is different somehow. Mia is more active, curious, and into trouble more than Poppy and Tippi. She certainly has more personality than them too. I'm thinking I need more magnets because I clearly don't have as many as you and Lorraine.

Oh, Brigitte, the Amphora is so beautiful! I am in awe of your knitterly skills. The colors are amazing.

I think Gandalf needs to be reminded that he is Gandalf and not Sauron! Such a naughty, but very cute, kitty!

Uh oh, guilty mind there, Gandalf? So cute though.

DPN's sound like a bad idea. Circs. New circs. Besides, until you buy some more, you'll never find them. If you buy them, you'll have 4 sets. (because another one will mysteriously appear then).

The only thing Hez really likes to play with is her yellow fuzz ball, my hand, and skeins in paperbags.

Oh, and most importantly, JERICHO tonight!

At least you haven't come home to find your bras and underwear in the kennel outside where all the neighbors could see. That's what Abner likes to steal best.

Amphora is absolutely stunning!

Have you checked under the dresser? That seems like a likely needle-stashing kitty's hiding place. Not that Gandalf would do such a thing. Much.

Can't wait to see the secret knitting!

Gandalf is just the cutest - and I'm seriously impressed by your magnet-collection as well as by Amphora! Awesome!

Hee hee, magnet snatchin' kitties. I love Amphora!

Was reading Chris's comment. I thought they would make a lovely couple. Just a fridge with no magnets.

Amphora is growing quite mightily! Beautiful - I like it much better on your blog :) But I have to say that covert secret knitting has all of my attention.

Mr. Puppy ate half of my fridge magnets - the others just chased them around the floors, oy! Puppies!! ;-)

oooh...that Gandalf!

my cats like fridge magnets too. doesn't matter how high i put them...i rather suspect someone jumps on top of the fridge and knocks them off the freezer door from above, hence providing hours of entertainment for those waiting far below.

(and yes, one of the cats is *black*...lol)
