Coming Clean

Dear Mom,

You know we love you. We sat back and waited patiently while you were in St. Catharines partying with Finnegan and his Moms. But, then you just had to be away all day on Saturday. We cats are patient, and when an opportunity presents itself, we know to take advantage of it.

Which it did.
Love,
Atticus, Mae and Gandalf

Happy 2007 to everyone!

Like what awaited me on Saturday night when I got home?! Someone was miffed at not being fed on time and on schedule. Pardon me.

And in case you needed a reminder of why I MUST knit from my stash in 2007:

Hmmm...let's see... There are 3 XL large Rubbermaid storage containers, 2 large ones, 1 medium one, 4 XXL Ziploc bags, and 3 VY kits still in their boxes.

Oh, and hey! That doesn't include the 2 other Ziploc bags UNDER my bed, and the bag of assorted odds and ends...

Yup. Knittin' from my stash. It's going to be a good thing.

*Note to self: Need more Ziploc XXL bags!*

Oh.My.Gawd. Obviously, I need MUCH more yarn before I can call myself a knitter. I am ashamed.

Also, I get to shop with abandon. Hee!

Hey Bridge- Looks like the Dudes enjoyed themselves when you were away.
I too have to come to terms with the yarn situation- it's beyond the pale.

I see your problem!

You just need to move a few of those bags and Rubbermaid containers to other rooms. Then they're not all piled together and won't seem so much. A bit like what I do ;-)

Cats will be Cats you know -- ignore them and you pay for it!

I totally agree with Marina -- just move it around a bit -- maybe put a table cloth over one of those rubbermaid boxes, make it an end table, be creative!

Seriously, you have some really nice stuff in your stash -- be proud of it. But I do agree -- knit from your stash this year -- you have some seriously nice stuff there!

Naughty kitties!! I came home to a bit of similar "redecorating," due to an unexpected ER visit... They redecorated even tho the neighbor came by to feed them, silly kitties.

Hmm, I'm not seeing a stash problem there...

I'm way too embarassed to show my stash, it is beyond insane.

But when I get a chance to go through it, hopefully the weekend after next I'll photograph the shame.

And the cats, too funny!

Oh, my, Gawd. And I mean your stash. You should strew it around the house the way I do. So much less spectacular.

Hey! Maybe we can trade XXL bags for some of your DB pink yarn.

That isn't how your bathroom looks normally? ;) Silly kitties.

This is why I am an amateur. Also why I and some friends are doing Yarn Crawl 2007 on Saturday. And yet I probably won't buy a lot. I'm pacing myself. LOL

YUP. Knitting from MY stash is going to be a good thing for me, too. I only wish a couple of my stash bags had a VY kit in them!
