Unproductive

"This is my impression of Mom this week. "Oooooooo, I feel crappy! Ooooooo, I need to lie down! Oooooooo, this sucks!" She was sick with the flu."

"And this is my impression of Mom not knitting. "Ooooooo, can't concentrate!" She hardly did any knitting."

"And this is me. Really starting to worry that Mom will be too out of it to feed me. I mean us."

"And this is me, acting all tough in the face of the nasty flu virus! Stay away from my Mom, you...you...stupid flu virus! Yeah! I'm a tough guy!"

"But, mainly we did our best to make sure she took care of herself, and rested up. I think she's still a bit tired and sore, but she's getting better! Here, we're showing her how to rest up. It's important to renew your energy you know. She'll be back next week, hopefully having knit some."

so sorry to hear you have the flu. it is nasty this year. But, you have all the furry ones to keep you company and nurse you back to health. take it easy, eat lots of chicken soup and don't forget to cuddle with the babies. as if they would allow you to forget

Make sure you tell her to get LOTS OF REST! Even when she's feeling better, make sure to take it easy. Once you get better, the last thing to come back is the energy.

Lots of fluids- drown yourself. It's the only way to get rid of it.

We've had several waves of it here- so far I've managed to dodge the worst of it.

Feel better.

Oh, I was hoping your mom was going to be all better by now! Keep up the good work, guys - I'm sure you're helping!

It's very important that you rest as your kitties indicate! Not that you'll have much choice if you had the flu I got. Yuck. Hope you're feeling better! It's so sweet of your Little Dudes to model good behavior for you. Except maybe the crawling around in the credenza. Don't do that.;)

Hope you're feeling better. What a bummer.

Don't worry, Atticus won't let you forget to feed him, I mean them. :)

So sorry you've been so sick -- ugh!

I hope that you're up and around soon, and that the kitties are doing sick duty, keeping you company and mostly behaving. Too bad we can't train them to make us a cup of tea!
