Crazy Crazy

See Malcolm.

"Hi!"

See Malcolm climb window.

"Wheeeeeeeeheeheeheehee! Lookatme!!!!"

"MALCOLM! Get DOWN!"

See Malcolm realize he's busted.

"Uh oh."

"Sorry Mom."

"Wow, even I didn't pull that, and I was THE puller of all things pulled in my time. Good one kiddo!"

"Gandalf! Don't encourage him!"

"So you see Mae, all you need is a really good head start, a big jump, watch that you don't smack your head on the blinds, and BING! You're up there! Easy peasy lemon squeezy."

It's been such a crazy week, filled with bouncing kittens (yes, I've removed the screen from the window...), and crazy work deadlines. I have to say - that's what has kept me busy most of the week. There was knitting. Oh yes. But most of it was of the "...not again...!" variety. Where you end up re-doing the same row/round/cable twist over and over and over again. So, I decided to keep it simple. I pulled out Sapporo, my long suffering (I seem to have a lot of those) Dale from eons ago, and just work on plain ol' stocking stitch. Lots of it. Not enough to start the patterning, but enough to keep me out of trouble. It's about all my frazzled brain could manage.

By next week...well, we'll see. I think I may have something of interest to show you. I just hope I can manage more than just plain stocking stitch this next week. :D

"Those people Mom works with are just not cool at all. Not cool. I oughta go straight over there and really give them a piece of my mind. Or not. I'm good here."

Malcolm! Bad kitty!! Just that one window??

Ugh, THAT sort of week. Here's hoping things settle down until after the Olympics. :)

Looks like you have your hand full with that little guy. Gandalf is such a sweet, calm kitty compared to him! Better luck with the knitting next week. Will send good, solid, mistake free knitting vibes your way.

Malcolm! Adventure Cat. Too funny.

Argh on the too much work to be able to knit! but you're feeling my pain and we love company.

Malcolm!!?! What? How? OMG!
Looks like he's practicing for Ninja Warrior. (Japanese game show where they go through all these obstacles & at the end there's this huge wall they have to climb...)

The black hole isn't too bad when you've got lots going on. :)

Wow, what a crazy kitty! Then again... I can't talk. I've had cats do some crazy things, too. LOL

Here's hoping things settle to the point where you can knit whatever you want without having to go digging for plain stockinette!

(And another LOL - my verification is "graftede"... very appropriate for a knitter...)

Wow Malcolm! YOu are an acrobat. Professional not just the reader version. Okay I've been around computers way to much.

Maybe next time he tries to go up that high, you can put him to work dusting the ceiling. Or better yet, send him to my house to do that I hate dusting the ceiling and I have low ceilings. Of course I never actually do dust the ceilings.

I'm smiling at Malcolm and thinking about Sirius' antics this week. Those kittens are a determined bunch when they set their mind on something. I hope the work stuff settles down quickly and you can get back to the beautiful colourwork you are so good at.

Oh, Malcolm, you remind me of Tim more and more. He climbed our drapes as a kitten, and no one had done that before. I *know* it is the red fur, I just know!!

Hope that work gets better this week for you, and you can enjoy your knitting again!!!!
